Jasmine Walker is the Director of Business Operations for the Center for Research on Women and Gender. In this role, she manages the Center’s day-to-day administrative and financial operations, grants portfolio and human resource activities.
Prior to her arrival at UIC’s CRWG, she held the roles of business manager at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago. Her educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration from National-Louis University; Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University; and certificates in Web and Internet Development and Strategic Organizational Management from Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies.
Her service at the University includes the UIC Business Managers Training Advisory Committee (member), (co-chair) Minority Women’s Concerns subcommittee (Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Women), and (member) Staff Advocacy subcommittee (CCSW). Her professional memberships include the American Management Association (AMA), National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), and the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA).
